Whispers of the Forgotten episode 9
As time went by, Thabiso visited Lerato at her home and found her washing clothes. “Honey, I came to see you. Are you still well?” Thabiso asked. “I told you to leave me alone,” Lerato stopped washing and looked at Thabiso. “Oh, honey, are you turning on me?” Thabiso asked. Lerato felt disgusted. “I don’t date people who were imprisoned,” Lerato said. Thabiso felt humiliated and knelt down in front of Lerato. “You are the woman I have loved since we first met,” Thabiso wiped away tears. Lerato was silent and surprised. “Stop, you are embarrassing yourself,” Lerato said, lifting Thabiso up. Thabiso got angry and pushed Lerato away. “What are you doing?” Lerato asked. Thabiso glared at her and approached her. When he raised his hand, Thabo appeared. “What are you doing, boy?” Thabo asked, approaching him; Thabiso jumped back.
Thabo punched him because he already knew who Thabiso was, and Thabiso also punched him back. Lerato saw that someone was going to die and called the fight off. “Wait, wait! Uncle and you, Thabiso, stop fighting,” said Lerato. “What does this moron want in your life?” Thabo asked. “Hey, you boy! Please respect me.”
“Now I see, are you having an affair with her?” Thabiso asked. Thabo laughed at him. Thabiso only saw that Thabo had made fun of him. “You came here with your grey beard. You are an old man who dates children. Lerato is my girlfriend,” said Thabiso. “Listen here, you little fool! Lerato is my niece, get out of here! Don't come here again,” Thabo snapped. Thabiso told himself that he would teach Thabo a lesson.
Mali went to the store while he was in his hometown. On the way, he noticed that people were pointing at him. “What are these people pointing at?” Mali asked himself. While he was walking, he met his childhood friend. “Don’t worry about those people,” said Lehasa, who was his friend. Mali paused and tried to think about how he knew Lehasa. “Lehasa! Is that you?”
“I am your king, I am happy to meet you,” said Lehasa happily.
“Man, this life is hard. Thabiso has also put me in a difficult situation,” said Mali, looking worried. Lehasa looked at him. “Man, it will be okay, trust in God and always know that everything will be fine,” said Lehasa. Mali felt relieved. “I appreciate your words of advice. I hope everything will be fine,” said Mali. “Man, I saw that in the news,” said Lehasa. “A person’s dignity will be restored, my friend,” said Mali. “Now you are talking, I like your thinking,” said Lehasa, smiling. “I hope that if I join community programs, my dignity will be restored.”
“Don’t worry about that, my friend, everything will be fine,” said Lehasa. Mali didn't want anything to do with Thabiso.
Thabiso woke up in the middle of the night and dug a hole where he had hidden the gun, and he found it still in good condition. “The one who calls himself Lerato’s uncle, I’m going to show him who I am,” said Thabiso, wiping his gun. “Lerato will know me,” Thabiso said. So what is Thabiso's plan? Well, we'll see.
