An Ebony Queen
Here is the poem: Gorgeous, my ebony queen, Your beauty shines like a radiant dream, In your dark, velvety skin, I see, A canvas of loveliness, crafted by destiny. Your eyes, like polished onyx, gleam, Reflecting the beauty that's yours to beam, Your full lips, a rosebud's promise sweet, Inviting all to revel in your loveliness unique. Your tresses, a cascade of night's dark hue, Frame your face, a masterpiece, anew, Your smile, a sunrise in the morning dew, Illuminating all, with a love that's strong and true. My queen , my friend, you're a work of art, A masterpiece that touches the heart, In your presence, I am lost, yet found, Forever enthralled, by your beauty unbound. You're a gem, a treasure, rare and fine, A beauty that's timeless, forever divine, Dineo, my ebony queen, I adore, Forever and always, my love for you will endure. ©Brian Makara, 2025.
