Whispers of the Forgotten episode 6
The truck stopped, and the workers were surprised. “You look surprised, what is wrong?” Thabiso asked and got off the truck. “No friend, but we are surprised that you came here speeding,” Mali said. “Friend, why is your shirt so bloody?” Thabiso asked. Mali was still scared. “They robbed me, my friend.”
“Then why you couldn’t say that?” Hlanaka asked. “No, I was still in shock,” Mali said. “Mali, let’s go load the bricks so we can deliver them to the location,” Thabiso said, and got ready.
Lerato saw a message on her phone and called Thabiso. “Dear, forgive me, my phone was off,” Lerato insisted, she was on the phone. “Dear, are you still alright?” Thabiso asked. “Don’t forget we’re going to dinner today, I want to be with you, and I missed you,” Lerato said on the phone. “Okay, we’ll meet when I get home.” Thabiso hang up the phone and wondered why he killed Neo. “So what’s going on, friend?” Mali asked. Thabiso was so silent for a moment. “I killed Neo by mistake. Lerato wants to meet me. Man, I thought they were in love,” Thabiso shook his head. Mali whistled. “You are in trouble. where is Neo’s body?” Mali asked. “It’s behind the chair, I need to bury it with you,” Thabiso stared at Mali. Mali got frustrated and threw the bricks on the ground. “I don't want to be part of your stupid plan, you’ll do it alone.”
“I’m doing this with you, I won't go down alone,” Thabiso said. “Look friend, why don’t we throw the body on the road? People will call the police thinking that the man was hit by a car,” Mali said, his voice trembling. Thabiso got angry. “Did you smoke marijuana?” Thabiso asked. “You’re going to bury him alone,” Mali said. “Listen here, boy. I’ll make sure you meet your maker, don't test me,” Thabiso said firmly. “Okay.” Thabiso and Mali buried Neo’s body in the bush.
Mali was aware that someone was watching them, and the person recognised Thabiso. “Man, I saw someone.”
“What are you talking about?” Thabiso sked. “Someone saw us, I’m telling you the truth,” Mali said. Thabiso got angry. “You’re going to annoy me,” Thabiso said. “I’m leaving!” Mali shouted and threw the shovel on the ground. Thabiso got angry. “Hey, you devil! Let’s finish this job,” Thabiso said and he was tempted. Mali looked at Thabiso and felt a pang of conscience. “No, man, I’m leaving,” Mali said and turned around. Thabiso pulled out a gun. “I’ll put a bullet in your brain and blow it!” Thabiso shouted and got angry. Mali finished the job with Thabiso.
Lerato and Thabiso went to dinner and had a cold drink. “Darling, I’m happy to be here with you,” Lerato smiled. “I’m the happy one, darling,” Thabiso took a sip. “Love is the most important thing when people love each other.”
“You know I still love you,” Thabiso said.
“Our relationship didn’t work out, so I want us to fix it,” Lerato said. Lerato was happy to fix things with Thabiso. “You’re right, and I’m asking you to forgive me for hurting you,” Thabiso said. “I’m asking you to stop being angered and I want you to get help,” Lerato said. Thabiso looked at Lerato and was surprised. “What help are you talking about now?”
“I want you to get counselling and stop being angry. I don’t want to see you do anything bad.” Thabiso didn't know what to say. “I’ll be fine, I’ve had enough,” Thabiso said. Lerato touched Thabiso's hand. “I’m sure, I want you to change,” said Lerato. “Darling, I’ll go with you tomorrow to book an appointment,” said Thabiso. Lerato smiled when she heard the news. “Okay, I’m glad to hear that.” This two couples had a nice meal, and Thabiso left Lerato at home.
