RECONCILIATION

You rose without opposing the golden sun,
You rose gently, bringing peace anew.
Our hearts, once burdened, found their rest,
Reconciliation turned sorrow into joy.

The quarrel blew away like fleeting winds,
Leaving sadness to vanish in its wake.
Joy blossomed, peace rooted in our hearts,
You, reconciliation, made us loving kin.

The hearts united beat with love and cheer,
For those who gather, you are the bond we revere.
You, conflict, once a shadow of death,
Faded like mist dissolving in morning’s breath.

And so the people danced in celebration,
You, reconciliation, crowned among kings.
Our joy renewed, our spirits lifted high,
You are the greatness that binds all things.

I felt your sweetness, soft and pure,
My heart turned white, as snow serene.
With smiles unbound, my heart grew tender,
Forgiveness rose as the world’s greatest treasure.
