A WOMAN

I gaze upon the stars, I see light,

I gaze upon the stars; I feel love's might,

I gaze upon the stars, immersed in love's flight,

I gaze upon the stars, my heart takes flight.

I turn to the woman, her grace sublime,

I turn to the woman, a star in her prime,

I turn to the woman, my heart keeps time,

I turn to the woman, a gem, so fine.

My heart gleams like a diamond rare,

Cherished like gold, with utmost care,

I turn to the woman, joy beyond compare,

Lost in thoughts of you love's tender snare.

My heart yearns for yours, in endless chase,

Yours sought mine, in love's embrace,

Your voice, a melody, my senses race,

Your every move, my soul's happy place.
